I’ve launched this website in order to have a public venue for my writing, to make it available to interested readers and to gather commentary and critique.  I’m engaged in all manner of writing:  long fiction, short fiction, poetry, plays, and essays.   Pieces will appear on this website as they are finished, sometimes published, sometimes not.

Writing, I’ve discovered, is a lifelong process of learning, both about the craft and about anything the research leads to.  It is a voyage of discovery, about oneself, other people, other times, and other worlds.  Sometimes the hike is challenging, but there is exhiliration with each rise crested. 

The life of a writer is often a solitary one.  But the internet offers an amazing vehicle for collaboration and conversation.  I’m interested in any discussion arising out of the ideas and themes that are presented here, as long as it is presented in a civil and generous manner.
